1. What we collect
When you register with email, we store your email address and a hashed password. When you connect Strava, we store your Strava athlete ID and OAuth tokens required to read your activities. We store the GPS routes of your activities solely to determine which map hexagons your route crosses.
2. How we use your data
Activity routes are used exclusively to calculate hexagon claims within Conquex. We do not sell, share, or license your personal data to third parties. We do not use your data for advertising, profiling, or machine-learning purposes.
3. Strava data
Conquex is powered by the Strava API. We access only the activity route data (GPS polyline, distance, activity type) needed to run the game. We never post to Strava on your behalf. Cached Strava data is retained for no longer than 7 days after an activity is processed. If you disconnect Strava, your tokens are deleted immediately.
4. Data retention & deletion
You may delete your account at any time by contacting support@conquex.de. All personal data will be permanently deleted within 48 hours of your request.
5. Security
We apply commercially reasonable measures to protect your data. In the event of a security incident affecting your data, we will notify affected users within 72 hours.
